To ensure you will have a very pleasant experience at The Kirk House, we have established the following policies. Please take a few minutes to review them, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

• Prices may vary from outdated quotes on other websites, and only rates as published on our website are guaranteed. Only one discount or promotion can be applied at a time.
• The Kirk House does NOT take walk ins. Bookings must be made at least 24 hours prior to your stay and must be made by phone, otherwise we encourage you to make your reservation online through our website.
• Check-in for overnight guests is at 3pm and checkout is 11am on the day of departure. Late check out or early check in may be requested and will be assessed a $30 fee if approved.
• A valid credit card is required for all reservations.
• SINGLE ROOM BOOKINGS: The first night rental will be charged at booking to hold the reservation. Additional nights will be charged at check-in. Cancellations made 48 hours or less from arrival will be charged the entire amount of stay. A refund will be issued if you cancel 48hours or more prior to scheduled arrival. Any additional charges for incidentals, damages or loss will be charged to the credit card on file.
• WHOLE HOUSE RENTALS: A 20% deposit will be charged at booking and is non-refundable. The remaining balance will be charged 30 days prior to arrival and will not be refunded if a reservation is cancelled less than 30 days prior. Every attempt will be made to reschedule your rental based on availability. Any additional charges for incidentals, damages or loss will be charged to the credit card on file. Whole House Rentals do not include holding an event on premises during your reservation. An additional event rental fee is required with an event contract.
• HOURLY/DAILY EVENT RENTALS: Full payment is due at time of booking and is non-refundable. Every attempt will be made to reschedule your rental based on availability. Any additional charges for incidentals, damages or loss will be charged to the credit card on file.
• Making a reservation at an independently owned Inn or Bed & Breakfast is not the same as making a hotel reservation. Due to our small size, cancellation gives us little chance of re-booking a room. For this reason, we uphold a strict cancellation policy.
• A signed contract between The Kirk House and a Lessee, who is at least 21 yrs. of age, is required. We accept debit and credit cards. We DO NOT accept personal checks under any circumstance. No cash is kept on site.
• We’re sorry we cannot accommodate our furry friends. We can recommend a local veterinary clinic for boarding your pet upon request.
• No smoking is allowed anywhere on the Kirk House grounds. A $250 Re-conditioning fee will apply to your bill if you smoke in your room or in the facility.
• Street parking is provided in front of The Kirk House on Fourth St. and behind The Kirk House when available.
• Alcoholic beverages are not provided or served by The Kirk House. Underage drinking is strictly prohibited. Guests may provide their own beverages. No coolers with ice are allowed in rooms. For the comfort of all of our guests and neighbors, please drink responsibly.
• The Kirk House staff is fully empowered to ask anyone to leave the grounds for disorderly conduct, intoxication, or overstaying their contracted time.
• The Kirk House does not prepare or serve meals on site. Meals may be arranged through a caterer of your choice or cooked on site by a guest. The kitchen is fully furnished with all necessary cooking equipment.
• Guests must remove all their food items upon departure and be sure all kitchen equipment and utensils are washed and returned to their original storage areas. Guests will be responsible for any broken or missing items. Lessee is responsible for the cleanup of all dishes used and the kitchen after their stay.
• Additionally, Whole house rentals guests are responsible for trash removal in bedrooms and kitchen and for the cleanup of all dishes and the kitchen after their stay. If you leave kitchen items in the dishwasher, please start a new cycle before leaving. Trash receptacles are provided in the alley behind the Kirk House are labeled. Replacement trash bags are stored under the kitchen sink.
• FREE coffee is provided during your stay and is available in the kitchen.
• The Kirk House assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen items. Each room is equipped with a deadbolt and door lock and should be used at all times when guests are not in their rooms.
• The Kirk House is equipped with complimentary high-speed wireless internet and ROKU TV in each bedroom and common lounge areas. Please be sure to log out of all personal accounts prior to departure.
• Due to The Kirk House being on the National Registry and being preserved in its original state from 1913, we apologize that it is not equipped with handicap accessible restroom facilities or lodging. There is an accessible ramp to the back door for entry to the facility.
